Balmacaan coat with generous armholes, sleeves and swing through the body. Made from a Master Shield cloth originally developed for the British Air Force in 19th century and later approved for Japanese production and supply to Japanese defense force and coast guard. Using 100% Giza cotton from Egypt, a super fine thread is woven at a maximum density. When exposed to water, the fibers expand, making it impervious to rain. The use of no coatings or finishings results in a fabric that when dry, allows sweat and water vapor to escape easily. This piece features front patch pockets and enlarge slot buttons secured with seatbelt tape. All edges are self-bound.
